Update

China and Willow. China has a love/hate relationship with Willow. Since Dusty came to the farm, China seems to be running the little girls around a bit more again. I think it's because Dusty is becoming herd boss, which means China is down another rung on the herd ladder.
China and Willow on 4/27/12. I can't believe how much Willow has grown since the end of August. She's more than doubled her size. Her dam is 15.3. We'll see if she grows that tall or taller...I'm hoping for taller! China is 15.2 at the hip. Willow is 15.0 right now.
Willow has been pulling back intermittentantly so I decided to ask for help. I took her to Cathy's and she really didn't pull back much at all. We tried to get her spooky with the big ball, didn't work. We tried fly spray, didn't care. We tried clippers, and she got a little reactive but didn't pull back. Left her alone and she moved around a lot but never really pulled back. She got annoyed and threw a small fit when Cathy was working her.....something we need to work on....letting other people work her...

My niece and brother with China a few weeks ago. Mike is the photographer of the family but I'm pretty happy with this picture from my little point and shoot camera.
All the horses in Afton after riding on the roads to town. Little girls were tired.
